In part 2 of our series on Trip Planning for Truck Driving School Students we are looking at the basic principals needed to track your trips. We wanted to provide a few tips to help you track your trips so that you can meet the goals of a profitable well planned trip.
All that they really accomplish by trying to scare you is filling you with a lack of trust and loyalty towards them. Most large companies are full of drivers that have hit bridges, rolled JD Truck Training Centre, been late for deliveries, and on and on. Does this mean you won't ever get fired? Certainly not. I've been fired a few times by idiots I've never met on some committee making decisions based on little or no real facts or understanding about me or my situation.
As you continue to get time behind the wheel, knowing where and when to shift, slow down, and speed up will become automatic. You will learn traffic patterns and weather patterns. You will learn how long it takes to get from city to city and from town to town throughout the state of Utah. This will help make you an asset to your company.
The most important thing to do when preparing your resume is to be honest. You will also want to make sure that you have a professional looking resume. If you don't type, have someone type it for you. Don't turn in a hand-written resume! Your resume will show your past few jobs and any education you have had. Make sure you list the Truck driving school you attended. Finally, you will want to show any experience and skills that you have that are relevant to the position you are applying for.
What a difference we could make if each person uplifted another each day. Just like doubling a penny every day for thirty days results in several million dollars, our acts of kindness, encouragement and acknowledgment would multiply as well to touch more people that we could ever imagine, simply having the self confidence to care about others first.
The schooling began with nothing but classroom study for the first week or two. If you decide to attend driving school at a HR Truck Licence company....let the propaganda begin! They won't waste any chance at promoting themselves, believe me. They will also make you feel like it is your privilege to be working for them. Get used to that. Now here's your first piece of raw truth about the industry... companies are completely and totally desperate for truck drivers. I mean DESPERATE!
From the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico, high and low, I've been there. From Puget Sound to the shores of Miami I've driven a big truck. From Truck driving school near me Boston to San Diego I've gone. I've been on four lanes, three lanes and one lane at times. I've seen the cities and countryside. I see all those vehicles and wonder where they're going and why they're in such a rush to get there?
